Director of Food, The Sandwich Box and Born & Bread
A self-confessed workaholic and disorganised by nature, but an inner need for perfection has brought me on a journey culminating in the accolade of BIA Baker of the Year 2016.
It all started with our sandwich shop, which was too small to make the minimum delivery of a local baker. So began the quest to find high quality, locally sourced ingredients for production of our own artisan bread. Having honed my skills, we now produce bread that has taken awards at the ‘Tiptree World Bread Awards’, plus many other accolades using the bread for sandwiches.
Out growing the Sandwich shop kitchen, a new Bakery was born in a purpose designed unit which is now producing artisan products for markets, restaurants, deli’s and our sandwich shop.
